Let’s Talk: What Does ‘Living Well’ Mean to You Right Now?

The Pharmacist Wordsmith – August 7, 2025 – Life-Changing Words Post #54

Let’s be honest. Most of us are doing the best we can with what we’ve got.

We might still be working, retired, caregiving, grieving, exploring, healing, starting over, or all of the above (depending on the day). And no matter how many books we read or lists we make, “living well” doesn’t always look like what we expected.

At 25, maybe it meant chasing dreams.
At 45, it might’ve meant making sure your kids or career didn’t completely swallow you whole.
At 65 or 75? It might mean staying mobile, protecting your peace, or simply waking up without dread.

So, here’s the real question I want to ask you:

What does living well mean to you—right now?

Not in some perfect future. Not after you hit your goals or fix all the stuff that feels messy. Right now, today, in this season of your life.

Is it health?
Is it purpose?
Is it feeling connected?
Is it peace, freedom, energy, laughter, or love?

Personally, I’ve found that the answer keeps changing. And maybe that’s the point. Living well isn’t a final destination—it’s something we figure out as we go, adjust to fit who we are, and sometimes have to reclaim.

I’d love to hear from you.

👉 Hit reply and tell me: What does living well mean to you right now?

There’s no wrong answer. Just your honest one.

Who knows? Your words might help someone else rethink their own idea of what a good life really looks like.

Until next time,
—Jay
